How much do you need to pay for Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Visa / Pass ? In this section, I will explain to you in detail.

There is no straight answer to this as fee structure depend on 3 main factors below :

  1. Number of applicants

  2. Age of all applicants ( Health care plan depend on age )

  3. Passport expiry date of each applicants ( visa fee depend on number of years before expiry)

OSC (MOTAC) had fixed and gazetted the fee structure for PRINCIPAL applicant. The principal applicant is the first person in the family and the rest of the family members are his/her dependents.

The Principal Applicant

Fee fixed by OSC ( MOTAC ) for the following categories are :

  1. SEZ / Silver Category : MYR 40,000 / Principal Applicant

  2. Gold Category : MYR 55,000 / Principal Applicant

  3. Platinum Category. : MYR 70,000 / Principal Applicant

These fee shall include everything until you actually got your MM2H pass / visa sticker on your passport.

Besides the above, You ( the Principal Applicant ONLY ) will also need to pay ( separately ) MM2H Participation Fee which is collected by the government as below :

  1. SEZ / Siver : MYR 1,000

  2. Gold Category : MYR 3,000

  3. Platinum Category : MYR 200,000

Note ! This is a ONE-OFF fee payable after you got your Conditional Approval Letter (SKB )

The Dependents ( Family Members )

For dependents, the fee is way less than the principal applicant. It will generally in the range of MYR 5000 - 8000.

Fee for dependents depend on 2 major factors listed below :

  1. Age of the dependents.

  2. Passport Expiry Date of the dependents.

The fee you paid above include the following charges set by the government.

  1. Processing Fee : MYR 2,500 / Dependent

  2. MM2H Pass : MYR 500 / Year / Dependent

  3. Multiple Entry Visa ( MEV ) : MYR 0 - 30 / Year / Dependent

  4. Medical Check Out : MYR 50 - 150 / Dependent.

  5. Medical Insurance : MYR 600 - 2504 / Dependent

  6. Stamping / Personal Bond : MYR 20 / Dependent.

Explanation :

Cost of the MM2H Pass + MEV will depend on your passport expiry date. For example, if your passport still valid for 5-10 years, you will be charged at MYR 500 - 530 x 5 Years.

Similarly, if your passport expiry date is only for 3 years, you’ll only be charged MYR500-530 x 3.

Medical Insurance will depend on age. Normally it will be range from MYR 600 - 2504 for each dependent. If the dependent is age 60 YO or more, medical insurance is no longer mandatory. You can have option to buy it separately and not included in the quotation.
