PVIP - Premium Visa Program
Another visa type that allow you to have 20 long years stay in Malaysia is PVIP, Premium Visa Program. This visa type was launched in 2022. It is particularly good for single or couple applicants. This visa allows you to works (employment), investment and running your business operation in Malaysia.
Below is the requirement for PVIP :
1. Participants are open to all age categories.
2. The entry fee for (Principal) applicant is RM200,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Two Hundred Thousand only) while for dependent is RM100,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: One Hundred Thousand only) for each person.
3. Payment of 1% initial entry fee of RM200,000.00 for each participant when submits the online application. The remaining balance of entry fee, pass fee, visa fee and security bond will be paid once the online application is approved.
4. The participation fee is non-refundable.
5. All payment must be paid through online payment method (FPX).
6. All the documents uploaded in the portal will NOT be returned to the applicant.
7. Documents to be uploaded by consultant/agency through online application:
7.1 Passport. (Applicant and/or dependents) include; i. Biodata page ii. Latest entry/exit endorsement iii. Current/previous pass issued by Immigration Department of Malaysia
7.2 The Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) / Police Clearance Certificate must be in English or translated into English and certified by the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate. (Applicant and/or dependents require to submit the CGC);
7.3 The resume by the applicant and/or dependent (spouse) must include the following information: i. Current employment; ii. Working experience; iii. Company’s name; and
7.4 Income statement.
a) Monthly income; i. Latest 3 months pay slip (Confirmation of monthly income); ii. Confirmation letter from current employer; and iii. Latest 3 months bank statements (salary).
b) Income from investment, business and others; i. Yearly bank statement; ii. Yearly income tax; and iii. Confirmation letter from bank
7.5 Medical report: i. Medical Form of applicant and/or dependents has to be completed before making endorsement.
7.6 Marriage Certificate (if accompanied by spouse and/or children)/Divorce Certificate (if accompanied by children). The certificate must be in English or translated into English and certified by the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate.
7.7 Birth Certificate/legal documents (if accompanied by children/adopted children/stepchildren/parent). The certificate must be in English or translated into English and certified by the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate.
i. Letter of verification from Medical Specialist/General Practitioner (if accompanied by children with disabilities of aged 25 years and above);
ii. Legal custody document (for sole custody) and letter of authorization from other parent (for divorced parents accompanied by children).
8. The application must be submitted through PVIP consultant/agency, please ensure that the consultant/agency is registered with (JIM). Review of registered parties via: https://www.imi.gov.my/semakan/agencies
9. The validity of passport AT LEAST 24 MONTHS.
10. Overseas income (offshore income) at least RM40,000.00 per month or RM480,000.00 per year for principal.
11. Ownership of a fixed saving account of at least RM1,000,000.00 and a withdrawal of 50% is allowed on the principal value for the purpose of purchasing property, health and education after (1) one year join the program.
12. Payment NOTE : The amount require must be reflected on the latest of three (3) months statement. The fee to be paid to the Malaysian Immigration Department for each Social Visit Pass (PVIP) application is based on the following table: No Items Payment Rate (Ringgit Malaysia) 1. Participation initial fee RM2,000 2. Participation Fee (Principal) RM198,000 3. Participation Fee (dependent(s)) RM100,000 4. Pass Fee RM2,000 year 5. Visa Fee Based on existing payment rates by citizen. 6. Security bond Based on existing payment rates by citizen.
13. Participants are allowed to bring dependents (spouse, children, parents and parents-in-law) and they are also allowed to bring foreign maids.
14. This approval is for a period of 20 years and is given with method as below; i. The granting of passes through the 5+5+5+5 years method subject to validity of the passports; and ii. The minimum validity of the passport at least 24 months
15. Approval from the Royal Malaysian Police security screening conducted on participants and dependents.

16. Extension Pass after the expiry of the 20 years approval period must be applied six months before the active pass expired and half the participation fee will be charged again according to the current fees.
17. Children of the principal applicant who have exceeded the age of 25 must apply to become a Malaysian PVIP participant by completing the remaining balance of the participation fee, or apply for other immigration facilities if they wish to continue residing in Malaysia.
18. Provide Security Bond for applicants (principals) and Personal Bond for dependents subject to eligibility rates according to nationality.
19. Have a valid health insurance coverage in Malaysia or global insurance.
20. Passport renewal, change of principal, change of nationality of participants and dependents must undergo and pass security screening.
